Creating programmes that move, teach, and inspire audiences

Published : Fri 2nd Nov

For over 120 years here at the National Trust, we’ve cared for everything from coastlines to art, collections to forests, fens to mansion houses, and mills and moorland across England, Wales and Northern Ireland. We restore, protect and open them up for everyone to enjoy – and we have big ambitions for our places to play a more active role in the lives of current and future audiences through our programming.

To help us do that, we’re looking to hire a number of individuals to lead change within the organisation. From Service and Visitor Business, right through to Creative Programming. There has never been a more exciting time to join the National Trust.

We’re now looking for a Head of Creative Programming to enable our places to offer really ambitious creative and cultural programmes for current and new audiences. We’re looking for someone who is a natural and inspiring leader, a natural collaborator, and someone who can work to a delegated model; creating the conditions for others to deliver. If this sounds like you, we’d love to hear from you.

Head of Experience and Programming, Jessica McGurk, explains more in this video.
