The London Project Team has won Gold at the Digital Impact Awards 2012 for the Soho Stories App.

The Digital Impact Awards is the UK's leading awards programme to recognise, benchmark and celebrate excellence in digital stakeholder communications.

The London Project Team won Gold for the best use of digital by a NGO, NFP or charity. The 2012 winners were revealed at a fabulous gala dinner at The Brewery in central London on the evening of Tuesday 16 October.
The Soho Stories App is free GPS-based audio tour bringing 60 years of Soho history to life. The App aims to bring history and heritage to life for a younger audience (25-40 years old) with the hope that they will convert to National Trust members in the future.

Joseph Watson and Laura Mcleod-Turner from the Trust's London Project Team attended the ceremony with Wol Baston and Camilla Purdon from Flint PR, who were commissioned by the Trust to support the App launch.
Laura Mcleod-Turner said: 'We are delighted that the Soho Stories App has been recognized in this way. The London Project team broke into so many new territories with the App - including using new technology, pushing the branding and organizing some very 'non-trust' launch events. We are really pleased that all our hard work has paid off."
