Recruiting: Head of Collections Management

A unique opportunity has arisen at the National Trust, for an inspiring leader who can enhance the National Trust's reputation for high quality collections management and care.

Our future Head of Collections Management will help us transform the place of Collections Management at the National Trust, with its many hundreds of individual properties – including 150 registered museums. This is an exciting opportunity to take a lead on how we document and care for one of the greatest collections of art and historical objects in the world!

The ideal candidate will represent the National Trust externally, sharing research and best practice. As part of their role, they’ll need up-to-the-minute knowledge of data management systems, together with clear, inspiring leadership skills to ensure that our teams across many hundreds of properties are fully trained in our standards, policies and procedures.
