To say my role is different from one day to the next is an understatement; where else could you be drafting a news release about wild asparagus one day and then about a rare piece of furniture the next!
In the Press Office team at Central Office we're responsible for managing the National Trust's image and reputation in the media - whether it's broadcast, print or online. The National Trust is such a large and diverse organisation that when we receive enquiries about any aspect of the Trust's work, finding the information in a short space of time can be a real challenge.
At the same time, it's a fascinating organisation, and it's immensely enjoyable getting to find out what's going on across the Trust, and feeling that I'm playing a real part in promoting the Trust's important role in conservation.
